Rolls-Royce All-Electric SUV Undergoes Snow Testing

#Legacy Automaker EV Transitions

[New Vehicle Update] Rolls-Royce’s second all-electric model—believed to be an electric version of the Cullinan—is undergoing road tests in Nordic snow conditions. The prototype features minimal camouflage and maintains proportions highly similar to the current Cullinan.

Core Development: A New All-Electric SUV Likely to Coexist with ICE Models

Expected to debut officially by late 2025, it will arrive in the U.S. market as a 2028 model. While its silhouette closely resembles the Cullinan, the front fascia adopts an entirely new design: horizontal LED daytime running lights, vertically oriented headlights, and a flatter grille that may integrate radar or camera modules. The rear retains vertical rectangular taillights but eliminates exhaust pipes, with the charging port positioned behind the wheels.

Key Specifications: Performance Targeting Ultra-Luxury EV Competitors

It is expected to carry over the dual-motor architecture from the Spectre, delivering a system output exceeding 500 horsepower. The vehicle will sit slightly lower than the Cullinan, adopting a coupe-like SUV stance, positioning it to directly compete with Bentley’s all-electric SUV launching in 2027. Given that the Cullinan remains the brand’s best-selling model, Rolls-Royce is highly likely to pursue a dual strategy of offering both ICE and electric variants, rather than replacing the combustion-engine model outright.
