[Market Update] Multiple new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturers achieved record-breaking sales in December, closing 2025 on a high note.

BYD reported December sales of 414,784 units, bringing its annual total to over 4.54 million units, with exports surpassing the one-million-unit mark for the first time. Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) delivered 89,611 vehicles, of which Aito contributed more than 57,000 units. Xiaomi Auto delivered over 50,000 vehicles, and NIO exceeded 48,000 units, both setting new monthly records.

Leapmotor delivered 60,423 vehicles in December, up 42% year-over-year but down 14% month-over-month, still securing the title of best-selling single-brand NEV maker for the month. Geely’s new energy vehicle sales reached 154,264 units, with its sub-brands Galaxy, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co contributing over 100,000, 30,000, and 33,000 units, respectively.
