FAW-Volkswagen Announces Senior Executive Leadership Changes

[Personnel Changes] FAW-Volkswagen announced that Wang Shengli and Zhang Yan have assumed new roles, while Wu Yingkai has stepped down.

Core Development: Veteran Executives Return to Lead Sales and Party Affairs

Wang Shengli has been appointed Deputy General Manager (Commercial) of FAW-Volkswagen, as well as Party Secretary and General Manager of the Sales Company. He joined FAW-Volkswagen in August 2002, serving successively as an engineer in the final assembly workshop, regional supervisor, and workshop manager. In 2013, he transitioned into the sales division, overseeing multiple regional operations and after-sales service for the Volkswagen brand. After 2020, he was transferred to lead marketing operations for Bestune and Hongqi, and since April 2025, he has served as General Manager of the Product Planning and Project Management Department at FAW Co., Ltd.

Strategic Foundation: Strengthening Localized Leadership

Newly appointed Deputy Party Secretary Zhang Yan has a long tenure within the FAW system and, like Wang Shengli and General Manager Dong Xiuhui, is considered a veteran of FAW-Volkswagen. This trio is expected to accelerate the transformation of the joint venture brand amid intense market competition.
