[Supply Chain Layout] Faurecia has signed an agreement in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, for a new intelligent seat frame project, primarily supplying models from Leapmotor, Zhijie, and Chery.

Core Development: Focusing on Key Components of Intelligent Cockpits

Faurecia will construct a new facility in Jiaxing High-Tech Zone dedicated to supplying intelligent seat frames and health-comfort systems for brands including Leapmotor, Zhijie, and Chery, with planned capacity sufficient for 2.879 million vehicles.

Key Metrics: Over RMB 3.2 Billion in Additional Output Within Five Years

The project is scheduled to enter phased production between May and December 2026, with cumulative additional output value projected to reach RMB 3.21 billion over five years. Its existing Jiaxing base has already exceeded RMB 2 billion in annual output value for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025).

Strategic Foundation: Upgrading Manufacturing Base into an Integrated Hub

Leveraging this project, Faurecia’s Jiaxing operation will transition from a single-function manufacturing site to an integrated hub encompassing R&D, manufacturing, and sales, reinforcing its position within the Yangtze River Delta’s new energy vehicle supply chain.
